Garage, Lydbrook

Three bay garage. Concrete block construction with factory made roof trusses. Stone facing from reclaimed Forest of Dean stone, cladding in western red cedar. Timber frame made from British grown cedar. Roof of cedar shingles.

The American western red cedar shingles (red label) are laid directly onto douglas fir battens with no membrane to improve breathability, they also look great from underneath.

Shingling the roof.
