Slate roofing, Allensmore

New slate roof for existing house and new extension. Using Spanish slate and lead hips and ridge.

Old man-made slate prior to removal

Lay boards and creeper rafters fitted to form new roof intersection

New extension roof running into original with lead valleys

Code 5 lead ridge formed around wood core and clipped with stainless steel straps every 500mm laid over 500 x 250mm Spanish slates hung on stainless slate hooks.
